Three months into starting a new home. And we do not have a whole lot yet. The front part of the lot has been cleared, they moved some dirt around, and they paved the road. Not too much else. They have also added street signs and street lights.
From the pictures, this may be exciting, but we have looked at this exact thing for the 2 months. We actually have trails from where we walk around the same places each weekend.
Shouldn't be too much longer before things start going fast though. We are in the next phase of the neighborhood. The builder has 3 more homes to finish is the previous phase. No real projection of when we can expect to be in though.
After 2 days of building, the house is coming along. First floor should be close to done tomorrow, then on to the second. We have a neighbor who just broke ground today- rumor has it they are from Georgia!
First shot is of teh foundation. It is finally down. Next Monday the framing will start!
Couple of shots of some of our Trusses. We are 'supposed' to have the rest of the wood here by the end of the week. We will see if that happens.
Painting was finished a couple of weeks ago. Just forgot to add them to the blog. It looks ok. Dark orange/maroon color, we have added a kacki colored rug, towels, and shower curtain. Nothing too special, just adding some color for when we are ready to sell.
As we are getting ready to put our home on the market, we felt like one of the bath rooms needed to be painted to make it look better. I have taken 3 pitcures of some walls in the bath room for the 'before' shots. This weekend we will be painting them and I will load the 'after' photos. I have got everything ready, with tape, getting stuff off the walls, and clearing most of the stuff out of the room.
