Pumpkin time

On Sunday, we went to Harmon's Tree Farm to pick Ellie out her first pumpkin! She was so cute in her halloween outfit. Then it was time to eat ice cream cake for an early mommy's birthday celebration

Our little girl has finally arrived

On October 2, at 9:30pm, our precious daugther finally arrived. Ellie Grace Evans was 6 pounds 10 ounces and 20 inches long. She is healthy and absolutely beautiful, just perfect! Here are a few pictures, then we will add more soon!

The Nursery is Finally Finished

This weekend, we were finally able to get the nursery completed- it looks great. We even started packing the bags for the hospital- only 34 more days!

Baby Shower in Georgia

August 2nd was our baby shower in Georgia, put on by family and friends! It was wonderful! The food and decorations were all perfect, and boy did we end up with over a car load of baby goodies- Thanks to everyone who helped and all the wonderful gifts. Next time we visit Georgia, we will be with the new baby, we can't wait!

Nursery Progress

With only 71 days left, we decided it was time to get the nursery a little bit more organized. We worked all morning trying to hang the border, hopefully it sticks! Everything looks perfect!! Next project will be decorating the walls. Time is starting to fly!

Baby Shower #1

This is our first shower, on July 12. It was hosted by friends and family at our house. Everything was perfect and beautifully decorated. We are blessed to have such wonder people in our lives who care about us so much. Cory and our dads all worked in the garage and painted the nursery while the women enjoyed the party! We did not get many pictures during the shower, bummer, but here are a few pictures of our gifts and the freshly painted nursery.

Roller and Sharon's Wedding

Our good freinds Jamie and Sharon got married on 06/07/08, we had tons of fun. Here's Cory and all of his best college buddies enjoying their reuinion with each other. They are almost all married now, we are still working on 2 of them! Somehow throughout the entire night, we somehow did not get any pictures of me or the bride.

Although I am much bigger now, this is a classic picture of me with my favorite UFC fighter Chuck Lidell. Cory did a great job capturing this one, and it wasn't even planned!

There could be a slight delay in new entries. Our home computer was being used as a coaster (by Michelle) last night, and after an accidental waive of her arm... we no longer have a computer with any saved pictures on it.

No need to worry, I did get a $25 gift card to Best Buy for my B-day, so we are on our way to being able to buy a new one....

Visitors

Cory's sister and family were some of our first visitors to the new house. Of course our house is not childproof, nor do we have any fun toys for the kids to play with. But, a child's imagination will never fail, Kade, Luke, and Alex had a blast playing with our door stops, placemats, and cup holders.
